From November 10 to December 17 2016, the young Brussels gallery MB-XL presents a unique exhibition dedicated to paintings of Soviet Russian propaganda. The exhibition unites around forty paintings and sketches (for posters) from a collection of 158 Russian works. These paintings were realised by around forty artists from Moscow, representing the elite of the Soviet Russian Academy that was active during the communist regime between 1956 and 1989 (fall of the Berlin Wall). These artists are considered amongst the most important within the historic Russian art collection that is collected everywhere in the world nowadays.
